Here is what Xavi, Frenkie De Jong and Araujo had to say about the game against Getafe, the red card decisions and the penalty that was not given.
Barcelona have now gone winless in their last four games at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, one loss and three draws. During that time they have also failed to score a single goal.
Here is what Xavi said after the game;
In the last play, there was no handball. The referee whistled what he wanted. I am not happy because the decision was against us.
The referee sent me off for telling him that there were too many fouls. They allowed them to commit too much fouls.
In the last meeting we had with the referee, they told us they would protect us as managers instead they are doing the exact opposite.
In the first half it was clear that we didn’t play well but in the second half we were sharp. The controversial decision at the end was clear but I won’t say anything.
Here is what Frenkie had to say about the game;
I enjoy playing with Oriol Romeu, he is a complete footballer and he helps a lot.
It was clear Gefate wasted time during the play for about 20-30 minutes. The Spanish federation should take decisions on such matters.
Araujo on catching the ball with his hands; I thought the ball was out of play, it was nothing serious.
We hope the decisions from the referees going forward would be fair. Next up we play Cadiz at home.
