Xavi praises Barca midfielder Gundogan and Lamine Yamal after Barca’s win.
Barcelona continued their La Liga campaign as they played against Cadiz for the first time in their new home ground. It was a thrilling encounter, we fought hard until the last ten minutes of the game before Pedri scored the opener in the 82nd minute and Ferran Torres in the 4th minute of the extra time.
Here is what Xavi had to say after the win;
Xavi on Gundogan: He has the Barca DNA, he is the cornerstone of the team. He never loses the ball.
On Ferran Torres: He is an example to others, he sometimes plays 30 minutes and sometimes 10 minutes, but he will always deliver his 100%.
When asked about the match scoreline : I think the game should have ended 5-1 or 4-1.
Xavi on Ansu Fati: Fati played a very good 30 minutes. He moved into space and recovered the ball a lot. All the substitutions we made had an impact.
Xavi: Today was perfect for De Jong to play as a center back, transition was key and the team is gradually moving closer to our objective.

Frenkie on Yamal: Lamine has a lot of talent, he has been working really hard. He has a lot of years ahead of win.
We didn’t have many chances, it is great that we have players that can score goals.
We have to keep creating and the goals will come,I think we have a sense of purpose in the team. The most important thing is to gain confidence and start winning games.
